Dental Sealants
Children should learn the importance of good oral hygiene at a young age so that their journey to lifelong dental health will be successful. Plan to bring your children in around age three for a first visit. Dr. Warren may suggest fluoride treatments and/or dental sealants to prevent decay on young, vulnerable teeth.
Dental sealants cover the grooves on back teeth as a barrier against sugars that cause tooth decay. Because children have a difficult time brushing hard-to-reach teeth, sealants take up the slack. To apply dental sealants, Dr. Warren will clean the teeth, dry the surface, and brush on a clear coating, then harden it with a gentle curing light.
With one call, you can protect your children's smiles. Contact our Issaquah dental office and schedule a consultation with Dr. Warren to discuss fluoride and dental sealants or to schedule your child's first check-up. We serve families from Sammamish, Bellevue, North Bend, and surrounding areas.
